A Shower for Mommy to be!

Preparing for Baby...only it's not mine this time!

My brother and sister in law are due to have their first baby in four weeks. As far as we knew they were not finding out the sex of the baby until the birth. Last weekend they had the most beautiful baby shower I have ever been to.  There was a HUGE surprise for all of us at the end of the shower...if you want to know what it is you will have to watch the slide show I made. I was given the job of photographer for the shower.  I offered my help in other areas but everything was covered...these women know what they are doing when it comes to planning a shower!  My sister in law owns an antique shop and they brought in all the antique linens, frames, bowls, decorations, etc.  It was beautiful, intimate and memorable!

Here is the slide show I put together.  Watch to the end for the big surprise!

Hello Again

Spring is here. Phew.

Hello again! It has been a while... Molly is now 9 months, crawling, pulling herself up on EVERYTHING, and keeping us very busy and VERY happy. Reese is 4 years and coming very close to finishing up her 2nd year of preschool. She is writing up a storm, showing lots of interest in reading, and absorbing information like a sponge. Mike is still working from home and says he still enjoys it! I still work from home too....still a full time momma and still loving it. We have been filling our time with day trips, play dates, school, and errands.... Wish I could get rid of those errands!

We decided it would be fun to take the girls into Boston on the train a few weeks ago. We live maybe 20 minutes from the city but there was no need to rush anywhere, so we decided NOT to rush. The girls enjoyed the train ride, looking out the window and observing all the people getting on and off the train. I love how they notice the little things that we don't even take note of anymore. I reserved a pass from the library so we could get 1/2 price tickets to the aquarium. So fun to show Molly and Reese the different displays.....our favorite was the sting ray and shark tank. We were able to put our hands in and actually touch the rays and sharks as they swam past.

Reese and Molly waiting for the train. They were showing their Irish Pride. :)

Mommy jumped in to prove she was really there...

Reese watching as the shark and ray pass by

Molly has no idea there is a giant fish swimming past :)

Love this

Love my family. Until next time.

Where have the last 7 months gone???

Ready...Set...It's Baby Time!
Last time I posted here I was about to have a baby...and now my baby is 7 months old! Molly was born on June 28th and was a nice big healthy baby, weighing in at 8lbs and 13oz. Life has been busy with two kids, but my heart has never been so full. Reese makes an amazing big sister and Molly is the most precious little sister a big sister could ask for.

Life in the Donnelly house is always in motion....except between the hours of 11:00pm-6:00am when we are forced to sleep. Reese is busy with her school activities and everything is bright and new through the eyes of our little Molly. Reese is learning to write and is starting to draw very colorful and detailed pictures. She loves school and is still quite the social butterfly. Molly has been sitting up since about 5 months and is just getting ready to crawl. Any day now our house is going to be turned upside down because our very curious baby will be on the move! The laundry monster is still going strong and the dogs have decided to continue shedding. The dishes haven't learned to wash up after dinner and the vacuum has not learned to clean up without a hand to guide it. Life goes on...forever throwing new challenges and obstacles for us to tackle. Mike and I work well as a team. I'm thankful to have a husband who jumps in when there is a need...and never complains OUT LOUD that I ask too much of him. :)

Here are some pictures from the last 7 months....

Here we are on Molly's Birthday.
