A Week filled with...RAIN!

Last week we outside enjoying a nice sunny day and I was feeling encouraged thinking maybe Spring has finally arrived. I decided to hop on the computer and check the weather...BOY WAS I RIGHT. Spring had arrived..but was not exactly delivering the weather that I had in mind when I think of beautiful spring weather. The forecast called for a full 9 days of rain with temps in the 50s and low 60s. This Monday was rough on me....I just couldn't shake the idea of going that many days without seeing the uplifting rays of sun. We were in the car at one point on Monday and I told Reese I just couldn't believe how yucky the weather was and she said "well, the flowers sure look happy!" and that is when it all clicked for me. My attitude turned around and I began to see the world through the eyes of a 3 year old. Yes, it is rainy, but the earth is getting a much needed drink. Rain helps nature thrive. Reese doesn't wake up in the morning and say "blaaaa...another rainy day" She wakes up and says "what are we gonna do today momma?" and my attitude about what Mother Nature is doing helps to set the tone for the day.
